The Opportunity We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced Frontend Engineer to join our expanding Engineering team. In this role, you will help develop and design technology solutions that are scalable, relevant, and critical to our company s success. You will focus on Angular development throughout all phases of the development lifecycle and must have a solid skill set, a desire to continue to grow as a developer, and a team-player mentality. Core Responsibilities Architect, Design and develop high quality and deploy and maintain highly scalable and optimized mission critical applications with unit test cases, meeting given specifications. Create Documentation, sequence diagram and other low-level design artefacts. Perform code analysis, peer reviews, requirements analysis, software review, system risk analysis and software reliability analysis. Ensures the developed code covers the non-functional requirements including performance, security, auditing and integrity. Resolve production incidents or defects as needed, and proactively identify potential issues. before they appear in the production environment; contribute to the root cause analysis. Drive high performance and accountability for own deliverables. Work well within a team and always work for team success by supporting other team members, constructively acting on feedback, and identifying challenging opportunities that enhance career growth. Contribute in defining secure coding standards, and work in a team to follow best practices to ensure compliance with standards, quality, scalability and security of deliverables. Tackle challenges and solve complex problems on a daily basis. You will interact with various stakeholders and work with cross-technical teams across the design, coding, testing, production deployment, and third-party product implementation processes. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. You will work on resolving production issues, analyze root cause issues and provide resolution in a timely manner. Required Qualifications Minimum 6 years of professional experience in frontend development, building and maintaining complex, large-scale web applications in enterprise environments. Proven passion for innovation demonstrates eagerness to explore emerging frontend technologies and frameworks, and mentors teams on best practices, performance optimization, and scalable design. Expertise in Angular 17+ (latest version), including: Angular CLI, standalone components, signals, and RxJS Angular Material for UI components Nx for monorepo management Angular Universal for server-side rendering (SSR) Proficient in core web technologies: HTML5, including semantic markup and accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.2) CSS3/SCSS: responsive design, CSS grid, Flexbox, animations Vanilla JavaScript (ES2023+): deep understanding of the language (closures, event loop, async/await) Strong knowledge of DOM manipulation, browser APIs, and event handling. Hands-on experience with web development frameworks and libraries: Angular (primary), but also familiarity with React 18+, Vue 3, or Svelte is a plus. jQuery only for legacy systems; modern codebases preferred without jQuery. Experience with Micro Frontend architectures, using tools like Module Federation (Webpack 5+) or Nx, and understanding of monorepo management for large frontend codebases. Good understanding of Microservice architecture principles and how frontend integrates with distributed backend systems (API-first, GraphQL, gRPC). AWS Cloud experience: deploying and hosting frontend applications (S3, CloudFront, Amplify) and integrating with AWS services (Cognito, API Gateway). Version control proficiency with Git (latest): branching strategies, pull request workflows, code reviews. Familiarity with package managers and build tools: NPM 10+ Yarn 4 (optional) ESBuild/Vite for modern build optimizations. Knowledge of unit testing and end-to-end testing: Jest, Karma, Jasmine for unit tests Cypress or Playwright for E2E tests Solid understanding of Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and familiarity with Jira for project management. Critical thinkers with strong problem-solving abilities can debug and resolve complex frontend issues across browsers and devices. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on code quality, readability, and maintainability. Bonus: Exposure to serverless architecture and GraphQL frontend integrations.
