Job Description Visa's Observability Team ensures the effective monitoring and logging of the company's infrastructure and applications. Utilizing a variety of tools to provide comprehensive observability, which aids in proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues, enhancing system performance, and ensuring high availability. Our latest project involves build in-house enterprise level log management solutions. We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a keen interest in database technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code for our Log managementproject. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise. Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve the product. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree/Master's degree with 1+ years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field. 1+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in Golang OR Java. Good to have knowledge of C, C++, and Python. Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Fluentbit, etc., Experience with database technologies, preferably Clickhouse or other columnar databases. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience with Ansible is an added advantage. Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
