Software Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
  
• Provide L1/L2 support for production applications and ensure high availability.
  
• Investigate and resolve incidents, application errors, and system alerts.
  
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using scripts or IaC tools.
  
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve CI/CD workflows.
  
• Work with system logs, dashboards, and alerts for performance tuning and issue diagnosis.
  
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, and SOPs for recurring issues and system health.
  
• Manage job schedules, API integrations, and support data synchronization processes.
  

Must-Have Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure/application support, or DevOps.
  
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and core services (EC2, S3, App Services, etc.).
  
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, New Relic, or similar).
  
• Solid experience in Linux/Windows environments and basic scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  
• Strong SQL skills for debugging application issues and supporting reporting needs.
  
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, or similar).
  

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container-based deployment.
  
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  
• Understanding of application architecture and REST APIs.
  
• Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure - associate level preferred).
  
• Awareness of ITIL practices and incident/change management.
