Position Summary

Seeking a skilled and motivated

Full Stack Java Developer

to join a growing software engineering team responsible for building and supporting a global logistics data warehouse platform. This platform provides end-to-end visibility into vehicle shipments using

GCP cloud technologies

,

microservices architecture

, and

real-time data processing pipelines

.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Implement and optimize REST APIs, and integrate with Pub/Sub, Kafka, and other event-driven systems
• Build and maintain scalable data processing workflows using GCP BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Terraform
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful features
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support functional and user acceptance testing
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to other engineers to improve code quality and standards
• Monitor system performance and implement strategies for optimization and scalability
• Develop and maintain ETL/data pipelines to transform and manage logistics data
• Continuously refactor and enhance existing code for maintainability and performance
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and full stack development
• Proficiency with GCP Cloud Platform, including at least 1 year of experience with BigQuery
• Experience with GCP Cloud Run, Terraform, and deploying containerized services
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices, Pub/Sub, Kafka, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience in ETL development, data engineering, or data warehouse projects
• Exposure to AI/ML integration in enterprise applications is a plus
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI agents and modern AI-driven data products
• Experience working with global logistics, supply chain, or transportation domains
  

Education Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Preferred: Advanced degree or specialized certifications in cloud or data engineering
  

Work Environment

• Location: Chennai (Onsite required)
• Work closely with cross-functional product teams in an Agile setup
