Software Engineer

As a seasoned developer with over 5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in understanding product requirements and translating them into efficient code. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving bugs, ensuring the performance and scalability of the product, and maintaining code quality by adhering to best practices and coding standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping technical documentation up-to-date, implementing RESTful APIs, integrating them with front-end components and third-party services, and demonstrating strong system architecture and design skills. Your mandatory experience should include at least 5 years of hands-on experience in REST API development using Python-based frameworks such as Django or Django REST framework (DRF), web development with Python, working with MySQL and PSQL databases, using Git for version control, and proficient database programming skills, particularly in Postgres and SQL. You should also have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an Agile development cycle. It would be beneficial if you have contributed to open source projects, possess knowledge or experience in DevOps practices, have familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum, can design and create APIs following standards like OpenAPI, practice Test Driven Development, and have prior experience working in a product-based company. In addition to your technical expertise, you should exhibit behavioral skills such as being a relentless problem solver, driven to learn and improve, open to feedback, highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities, a self-starter in designing and programming web applications, possessing superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and demonstrating outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
