Join our specialized department responsible for the diagnosis of the electric engine in BMW s Neue Klasse vehicles. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the entire software development lifecycle for system functions and cybersecurity. Leveraging a large-scale data platform, you will analyze vehicle-generated error traces and check-ins to identify and resolve incorrect diagnosis implementations in the software. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers, you will contribute to ensuring the highest quality and security standards of BMW s electric drive systems.

What should you bring along

Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
Experience in embedded software development and trace analysis
Good communication and organizational skills for coordinating debugging sessions
Fluency in English (or German)

Must have technical skill

Proficiency in analyzing CAN traces and DTC lists
Experience with tools such as Carmen and SecOC-Parser (or similar)
Understanding of CAN systems and vehicle communication protocols
Ability to create concise reports and status sum ies (e. g. , PowerPoint one-pagers)
Familiarity with software configuration management and backend upload processes

Good to have Technical skills

Experience in software development processes related to system functions and cybersecurity
Management skills for coordinating between suppliers and internal teams
Knowledge of automotive diagnostic systems and big data platforms
