Job Description

Tech Lead Java

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Java-based microservices
Define and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices
Mentor and guide a team of developers and code reviewers
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability
Conduct code and design reviews, debugging, and optimization
Handle production issues and implement preventive measures
Drive continuous improvement in development processes and tooling

Required Skills & Experience:

710 years of backend development experience with
Java (8+)
, Spring Boot, and Microservices
Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, and RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with databases like
MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
Experience with caching frameworks like Redis, messaging systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects end-to-end

Good to Have:

Exposure to high-traffic systems or fintech/startup background
Knowledge of security best practices and performance tuning
Understanding of Agile methodologies
