Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Software Development Engineer (SD3) to join our cloud engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native applications and infrastructure. This is a hands-on role requiring strong development skills, cloud experience, and a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Aurora MySQL, S3, IAM, and Lambda. Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm for scalable deployments. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Jenkins, and AWS CodeBuild to enable rapid delivery cycles. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code/scripts using Java or Python to support application logic, automation, and integrations. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform. Set up and maintain effective alerting and monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices across all deployments. Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and cloud-native application architecture. Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm. Proficient in Java or Python. Solid experience with CI/CD tools and Docker. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Working knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana). Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
