Software Development Engineer III – Full Stack (.NET/Azure)

The Software Development Engineer III plays a key role in developing and delivering production-level software while collaborating with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and cross-functional teams. The role involves technical leadership, feature ownership, architectural decision-making, and cross-team impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in core code areas with strong understanding of overall system architecture.

• Provide technical input across teams and company-wide initiatives.

• Research and recommend technologies for performance, scalability, and productivity.

• Break down complex projects into milestones and deliverables.

• Deliver high-quality software with accurate timeline estimates.

• Drive smooth product launches and coordinate deployments.

• Own testing and performance planning.

• Lead solutions to complex challenges across teams.

• Influence decisions at project/service and Pillar levels.

• Proactively address technical debt.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor others.

• Act as Tech Lead or Architectural Review Board member.

• Design solutions with balanced technical, analytical, and product considerations.

• Enforce coding standards and best practices.

• Participate in on-call support, bug triaging, and technical debt management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent programming and object-oriented design skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in mentorship and technical leadership.

• Ability to own end-to-end system components.

• Knowledge of secure coding and OWASP standards.

• Experience in system-level design and development.

Preferred Skills

• Interest and ownership in QA/testing.

• DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.

• Designing cross-service architectures.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure: Azure Functions, Azure WebJobs, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, Azure Service Bus & Storage Queues.

• Familiarity with Event-driven Architecture (EDA).

• Familiarity with Service-oriented Architecture (SOA).

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Vue.js.
