Job Description

Software Developer Engineer Intern

Internship Duration : 6 Months

Work Location: Gurgaon

Conversion Opportunity : Full-time conversion based on performance during the internship

About the Role
We are hiring a Software Developer Intern to work on a product-based healthcare platform that handles large-scale, sensitive HCP and clinical data. As an intern, you will contribute to real production-grade systems, work with structured and unstructured data, and help build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
â€¢ Design and implement features for a data-heavy, product-based application â€¢ Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following engineering best practices â€¢ Solve complex problems using appropriate data structures and algorithms â€¢ Work with large datasets and optimize APIs and workflows â€¢ Build and integrate REST / GraphQL APIs â€¢ Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams â€¢ Ensure data quality, performance, and security â€¢ Participate in code reviews and sprint planning â€¢ Assist in data ingestion and scraping pipelines (good to have)

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
â€¢ Strong command over Data Structures & Algorithms â€¢ Proficiency in anyone programming language (Python, Golang, JavaScript) â€¢ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills â€¢ Understanding of OOP concepts â€¢ Basic knowledge of databases (SQL / NoSQL) â€¢ Familiarity with Git and version control

Good to Have
â€¢ Experience with data scraping or data extraction tools â€¢ Exposure to data pipelines or ETL workflows â€¢ Understanding of healthcare or pharma data â€¢ Familiarity with AWS or cloud platforms â€¢ Awareness of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
