Software Developer - DESIM

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design and build sophisticated portfolio analytics and quantitative tools central to the firms trading lifecycle. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, quants, and strategists, gaining deep exposure to financial domain concepts and contributing to mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, quants, and strategists to build technology that drives front-office objectives.
  
• Design and develop complex systems and efficient tools for portfolio analytics, optimization, and risk assessment.
  
• Build scalable libraries and backend systems capable of storing and processing large volumes of business data.
  
• Improve the efficiency of the trading lifecycle using advanced technology solutions.
  
• Work on quantitative tool development, big-data optimization challenges, and system scalability.
  
• Implement data governance, validation, and observability to ensure data quality and compliance.
  
• Develop expertise across backend technologies and, when needed, contribute to frontend development.
  
• Maintain high standards of software quality, architecture, and performance.
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with

  2–8 years

  of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  or similar programming languages.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, architecture, design patterns, and debugging.
  
• Strong quantitative aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
  
• Experience working in Agile environments with strong coding discipline.
  
• Exposure to databases, financial domain concepts, or frontend technologies is a plus.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
  
• Ability to work independently with focus, attention to detail, and ownership.
  
• Comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams.
