Job Description

Data Engineering & ETL/ELT

Design, develop, and optimize complex data pipelines using IBM DataStage and other ETL/ELT tools.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across large-scale data processing workflows.

Database Management & SQL

Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Manage and maintain relational and relational/non relational databases to support business and technical requirements.

Programming & Backend Development

Develop robust backend services and data processing applications using Java.

Implement efficient algorithms for data manipulation and integration.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise

Data Engineering & ETL/ELTExpertise in designing, building, and optimizing complex data pipelines, with hands-on experience in IBM DataStage.

Database & SQLAdvanced SQL skills for complex data querying, analysis, and manipulation across various database systems.

ProgrammingStrong proficiency in Java for developing backend services and data processing applications.

Technical ArchitectureProven ability in technical solution architecture, designing scalable and resilient data systems.

ContainerizationHands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications.

Agile LeadershipDemonstrated experience as an Agile Delivery Leader or Scrum Master, guiding teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

Project ManagementExpertise in technical project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Cloud PlatformsExperience with major cloud providers (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their native data services.

Data AnalysisStrong ability to perform in-depth data analysis to support business decisions and make inform technical choices.

CI/CDFamiliarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and best practices.

Cross-functional LeadershipProven success in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, design, and business units.
