Software Developer - C#/Java

🚨 We're Hiring: .NET / Java Software Developer (3–5 YOE)

📍 Location: Remote (India-based)

🕐 Shift: 6:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST (Aligned with Canadian EST: 9 AM – 5 PM)

We’re hiring skilled backend developers to join a fast-growing Canadian startup transforming healthcare through scalable, intuitive software. Our backend is built in .NET, but we’re also open to strong Java developers who are willing to work in or transition to a .NET environment. You’ll take real ownership of features, write clean, maintainable code, and collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams in Canada.

✅ What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development
• Experience with .NET stack (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET) or Java stack (Java 8+, Spring Boot)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles & design patterns
• Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• A mindset for clean code, accountability, and continuous learning
• Willingness to work in or transition to our .NET-based stack

🎯 Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core
• Build and consume RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams in real time
• Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Take full ownership of features from planning through deployment

📆 A Day in the Life

• Start your workday around 6:30 PM IST from your home office
• Join a daily stand-up with the Canadian team
• Pick up development tasks and collaborate via Slack, Zoom, and GitHub
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across Canada and India
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
• Push high-quality code and wrap up around 2:30 AM IST
