Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 7-10 years of experience to join our team as a Software Asset Management (SAM) specialist in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software licensing and asset management, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Perform Software Asset Management (SAM) activities, including license compliance verification and financial analysis.
Respond to escalations, analyze data, highlight trends and gaps, and prepare data for business meetings/reviews.
Support day-to-day Software Compliance operational activities, such as maintaining accurate software asset data and reports.
Provide guidance and suggestions on licensing-related queries and understand/interpret software licensing usage and Enterprise Agreements.
Drive process and system improvements to enhance the quality of software asset data and ITAM processes.
Reach out to various functional teams globally for planned tasks or issue resolution.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of software asset management principles and practices, with experience in software licensing and compliance.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel or Google Sheets, and experience with ServiceNow Request Management Tool.
Good understanding of virtualized environments, active directory, and ITAM and Inventory collection tools like SCCM.
Experience in driving automation and innovation practices to reduce human efforts and improve efficiency.
Ability to manage senior stakeholder expectations and communications requirements, with strong leadership skills on meetings and calls.
