Social Worker

Y2K Tots Foundation is a social impact organization committed to malnutrition eradication, child welfare, and community health initiatives. We are looking for passionate Social Worker or social worker Interns to support our projects, engage in fundraising activities, assist in office operations, and contribute to the NGO’s revenue-generating initiatives.

Job Description:

As a Social Worker or Social worker Intern, you will be actively involved in managing projects, supporting fundraising activities, assisting in office work, and contributing to the NGO’s e-commerce initiatives, where sales help fund our social programs. This role offers hands-on experience in NGO operations, community development, and social entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Support & Fieldwork – Assist in executing various social welfare projects, including nutrition, education, and healthcare initiatives, while collecting data and documenting project outcomes.
• Community Engagement – Organize awareness campaigns, fundraising drives, and wellness programs to strengthen community participation.
• Fundraising & Revenue Generation – Support the NGO’s income-generating initiatives, including corporate partnerships, donation drives, and e-commerce sales.
• E-Commerce Support – Assist in managing the NGO’s e-commerce section, ensuring smooth operations, order processing, customer engagement, and promotions, as sales directly contribute to funding social projects.
• Research & Documentation – Conduct research on social issues, policies, and best practices; prepare reports, case studies, and impact documentation to support project planning and evaluation.
• Social Media & Digital Outreach – Contribute to managing the NGO’s social media platforms by creating engaging content, handling updates, running awareness campaigns, and promoting fundraising or e-commerce initiatives.
• Office & Administrative Work – Provide support in documentation, record-keeping, report preparation, and other day-to-day office tasks.
• Travel & Outreach – Visit project sites, interact with beneficiaries, collect field data, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
