Social Media Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a creative, data-driven, and energetic Content & Personal Branding Growth Strategist who can work to grow our YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook Reels presence over the next 3–4 months.

This role is not for someone who’s still “figuring it out.”

It’s for someone who understands content strategy, virality, and social media storytelling — and can turn ideas into consistent, high-performing video content that drives views, engagement, and leads.

You’ll plan, push, and manage content that strengthens Guide to Heights’ brand, Abin’s personal profile, and connects authentically with students, parents, and the study abroad community.

• Build and execute a 3–4 month content growth plan for YouTube, Instagram & Facebook.

• Work closely with Abin to ideate and script short-form & long-form videos (Malayalam + English mix).

• Guide the video editor on style, hooks, thumbnails, and storytelling for virality.

• Ensure all videos are posted consistently, on the right platforms, with optimized captions, titles, and tags.

• Analyze performance and tweak content strategy weekly to improve reach and engagement.

• Bring fresh, creative ideas — Reels trends, storytelling formats, and brand collaboration concepts.

• Build engagement loops: comments, shares, stories, polls, and DMs that lead to more followers and qualified leads.

• Be proactive — someone who keeps pushing things forward daily.

You Should Have

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media strategy.

• Proven track record of growing YouTube/Instagram accounts (please share examples).

• Strong understanding of what makes content viral — hooks, retention, storytelling.

• Basic knowledge of editing workflows (to communicate ideas to video editors).

• Comfort working with founders on-camera — scripting, shooting, and planning video days.

• Creative mindset + practical execution + accountability.
