Role Overview

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in building our digital identity. You’ll assist in creating, managing, and analyzing engaging content across multiple social media platforms, helping us grow our online presence and connect with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to increase reach and engagement.
• Create, edit, and publish engaging content (posts, reels, stories, short videos, graphics, etc.) aligned with trending news.
• Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and competitor activities to keep our content relevant.
• Track analytics and prepare performance reports for different platforms.
• Engage with the audience through comments, messages, and polls.
• Collaborate with the editorial and creative teams to ensure brand consistency.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
• Passionate about digital media, news, and social media marketing.
• Basic knowledge of popular platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Strong communication and writing skills in [English/Hindi/regional language as per your channel].
• Creative mindset with an eye for trending content.
• Familiarity with Canva, video editing apps, or similar tools is a plus.
