THE ROLE

• adaptations of web videos in Tamil, starting from research, writing, storytelling and editing to the final video
• contribution to the development and implementation of new formats for our social media platforms, especially Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
• application of in-depth knowledge of regional social media trends, analytics, community management and social media algorithms
• production of high-quality content including AV, images, and text for publication on our social media platforms
• active contribution to thumbnail design, writing SEO's, developing hashtags and creation of web videos for Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
• monitoring of social media to spot the trends and usage of social media tools and analytics
  

YOUR PROFILE

• completed university studies in a relevant field or equivalent journalistic qualification
• professional journalistic experience in the areas of social media and web video production
• confident mastery of the editing program Adobe Premiere; mastery of Adobe Photoshop an advantage
• high level of flexibility and creativity
• very good command of the Tamil language required
• good knowledge of English and/or German in order to access journalistic sources in both languages required; knowledge of Hindi or another Indian language an advantage
• excellent planning and organizational skills with a proactive and pragmatic approach and ability to meet deadlines
• willingness to work on weekends
