Social Media Manager

Overview

VYS Motion Pictures is looking for a creative and organised Social Media Manager to help run our daily social media and grow our online presence. This role is simple, straightforward, and perfect for someone who enjoys creating content, spotting trends, and working in a creative environment.

We also have an in-house studio, videographer, photographer, and video editor, all of which will be available for you to use for content creation. You will never have to create everything alone—our team will support you.

What You Will Do1. Plan & Organise Content

• Make weekly and monthly posting plans.
• Think of ideas for reels, BTS clips, posters, and announcements.
• Coordinate with the editor, videographer, and studio team for shoots and edits.

2. Handle Daily Social Media

• Post content consistently across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and more.
• Maintain a clean visual style and strong brand identity.
• Upload reels, shorts, stories, and photos on time.

3. Engage With the Audience

• Reply to comments and messages.
• Keep an eye on trending formats, viral audio, and new ideas.
• Help grow followers, reach, and overall engagement.

4. Track Performance

• Check insights for posts and videos.
• Share simple weekly reports on growth and engagement.
• Suggest improvements based on what’s working.

5. Work With Our Creative Team

• Coordinate with our editor, videographer, photographer, and studio team to get high-quality content.
• Capture small behind-the-scenes moments during shoots.
• Keep all content organised in a digital folder system.

What You Need

• Good understanding of Instagram, YouTube, reels, and shorts.
• Basic sense of editing or using apps like CapCut/Canva is helpful.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• A creative mindset and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience in the film or media industry.
• Skills in photography, videography, or design.
