About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video & Social Media Creator who loves capturing real stories, local gems, people, and moments around Pune!
You’ll work closely with the founder to shoot, edit, and post high-quality video content for Your Friend from Pune across Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts, vlogs, etc.)
• Cover local events, cafes, experiences, and unique stories across Pune
• Assist during public interactions/interviews with Punekars on roads and events
• Manage posting schedules, captions, hashtags, and engagement on Instagram
• Maintain an organized content library and basic analytics tracking
• Brainstorm new creative content ideas with the team

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Have good camera skills (phone or DSLR) and basic editing knowledge
• Are comfortable shooting outdoor and street interviews
• Know how to edit reels with trending audio, captions & transitions (CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Are passionate about social media, storytelling, and local culture
• Speak fluent English/Hindi/Marathi (bonus!)
• Have a sense of humor and enjoy meeting new people
