The Role

A lot of people think social media is a desk job. At Because, it’s anything but.

As a Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be on your feet, at shoots, capturing behind-the-scenes

moments, brainstorming hooks, writing witty captions, sometimes even stepping in front of the

camera. You’ll turn briefs into buzz and content into conversations.

Responsibilities

- Manage and grow client and Because social handles across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

- Plan, schedule, and publish 30+ posts/month per retainer client.

- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video editors to create thumb-stopping content.

- Write witty, on-brand captions and experiment with reels, memes, carousels, and stories.

- Capture content on the go—at events, shoots, and celebrations.

- Track performance and share insights to improve reach and engagement.

- Stay updated on trends, pop culture, and platform updates.

- Engage with online communities: reply, react, and keep conversations alive.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing (agency side = bonus).

- A natural flair for copy + culture (you know your memes, trends, and timing).

- Equally comfortable at a client shoot as behind a laptop.

- Ability to juggle multiple brands and deadlines with ease.

- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Meta Suite, Buffer, Later, etc.).

- Analytical mindset—able to read numbers and turn them into stories.

- Above all: curiosity, energy, and a love for doing new things.
