Job Summary:

SoC/CPU/GPU Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and architect CPU, GPU, or SoC microarchitectures aligned with performance, power, area (PPA), and feature goals.
  
• Perform architectural modeling, simulation, and workload analysis to drive performance projections and design trade-offs.
  
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and verification teams to ensure architectural intent is maintained throughout implementation.
  
• Analyze industry trends, competitive products, and emerging workloads (AI, HPC, graphics, etc.) to identify architectural opportunities.
  
• Define specifications for compute units, memory hierarchy, interconnects, accelerators, and system-level interfaces.
  
• Lead performance and power estimation methodologies using cycle-accurate or high-level simulators.
  
• Drive hardware/software co-design and optimize architecture for compiler, firmware, and driver support.
  
• Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and patent/IP strategy development.
  
• Communicate architecture vision and proposals across executive, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of computer architecture fundamentals: instruction pipelines, memory subsystems, cache coherence, branch prediction, and speculative execution.
  
• Proven experience with:
  

• CPU Microarchitecture:

  in-order / out-of-order pipelines, RISC/V, ARM, or custom ISAs.

• GPU Architecture:

  SIMD/SIMT execution, shader cores, graphics/compute pipelines.

• SoC Architecture:

  integration of IP blocks, memory hierarchy, interconnects (e.g., NoC, AMBA), power domains.
• Strong skills in architectural modeling and simulation (e.g., gem5, SystemC, custom C++ models).
  
• Proficiency in performance and power analysis.
  
• Experience working with RTL and EDA tools for architecture-validation and implementation (e.g., VCS, Verilator, Synopsys, Cadence).
