Job Summary
The SOC Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center, ensuring effective detection, investigation, and response to security incidents. This role involves managing SOC analysts, defining processes, improving monitoring capabilities, and ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage SOC operations, including monitoring, incident detection, and response activities.Supervise and mentor SOC analysts, providing technical guidance and performance evaluations.Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOC processes, procedures, and playbooks.Coordinate with IT, network, and application teams to resolve security incidents effectively.Analyze and report on SOC performance metrics, threat trends, and incident handling efficiency.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.Evaluate and implement advanced security tools, technologies, and automation for threat detection and response.Serve as an escalation point for high-priority security incidents.Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend preventive measures.Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
