Job Description

Snowflake Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
data pipelines
and
ETL workflows
in Snowflake using SQL and Python.
Implement
data ingestion
from multiple sources (on-prem, APIs, cloud storage).
Develop
Python scripts
for automation, data transformation, and validation.
Optimize Snowflake queries and manage
performance tuning
.
Implement
Snowflake features
such as Streams, Tasks, Stages, and Snowpipe.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data solutions.
Ensure
data quality, security, and governance
best practices.
Integrate Snowflake with tools like
DBT, Airflow, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory
.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with
Snowflake
(data warehouse design, query optimization, performance tuning).
Proficiency in
Python
for scripting and data transformation.
Solid understanding of
SQL
,
ETL frameworks
, and
data modeling
(Star/Snowflake schemas).
Experience with
Cloud Platforms
AWS / Azure / GCP.
Familiarity with
CI/CD
and version control tools (Git, Jenkins).
Knowledge of
data orchestration tools
(Airflow, DBT, or similar).

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with
Kafka
,
Spark
, or
Databricks
.
Exposure to
machine learning pipelines
or
API integrations
.
Snowflake or Cloud certification.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
