Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with expertise in Python, SQL, and Snowpark to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, developing Snowpark-based applications, and delivering advanced analytics solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake SQL, Python, and Snowpark.

Build data engineering and analytics workflows leveraging Snowpark (Python API) within the Snowflake environment.

Perform complex data modeling, transformations, and optimizations to enable business reporting and analytics.

Optimize query performance and warehouse usage for cost efficiency and scalability.

Integrate and manage data ingestion and orchestration workflows using Azure data services.

Ensure compliance with best practices in data governance, security, and data quality.

Required Skills

7+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development and administration.

Strong expertise in SQL for complex queries, data modeling, and transformations.

Proficiency in Python, particularly for data engineering and Snowpark-based development.

Hands-on experience with Snowpark for building pipelines and analytics applications.

Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture, ELT/ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms.

Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or dbt.

Understanding of data security, RBAC, and compliance in Snowflake.

Snowflake certifications are a plus.

Experience with dbt for transformation workflows.
