Job Title:

Job Summary:

Snowflake Admin Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support the
Snowflake platform
across development, test, and production environments.
Manage
user access, roles, and RBAC policies
to ensure platform security.
Monitor and optimize
Snowflake performance
and usage costs.
Automate Snowflake operations using
Python, JavaScript, and Terraform
.
Build and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
Collaborate with data engineering and DevOps teams to ensure reliable and secure data platform operations.
Maintain best practices for
governance, security, and compliance
within Snowflake and cloud ecosystems.

Required Qualifications:

68 years of total experience
in data warehouse development/administration.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake administration
.
Strong expertise in
SQL
,
Python
, and
JavaScript
.
Proficient in infrastructure as code using
Terraform
.
Good knowledge and experience with
Azure
or
AWS
cloud platforms.
Experience building and managing
CI/CD pipelines
using
Azure DevOps
or similar tools.
In-depth understanding of
Snowflake architecture
,
RBAC
,
cost control
, and
security best practices
.

Nice to Have:

Snowflake certification(s) preferred.
Experience in integrating Snowflake with external data sources and tools.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and alerting for Snowflake.
