Job Title: Senior Accountant – Real Estate / Construction

Location: VIP Haldiram, Kolkata

Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in real estate or construction sector accounting. The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience handling accounts, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. This role involves managing day-to-day accounts, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing accurate financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping:
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Taxation & Compliance:
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and government regulations.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for projects.
• Audit & Internal Controls:
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
• Project Accounting:
• Manage accounts related to real estate/construction projects.
• Track project costs, vendor payments, and client billing.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.Com/M.Com; CA/ICWA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in accounting (real estate/construction industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
