Smart Meter Installer

Key Responsibilities: • Install and commission smart electricity/gas/water meters at residential and commercial properties • Perform upgrades and replacements of existing metering equipment • Conduct site assessments to ensure safe and accurate installation • Test and calibrate meters to ensure accurate functioning • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during or after installation • Accurately record installation data using mobile or handheld devices • Educate customers on how to read and understand their smart meter • Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines • Report faulty equipment or hazards to supervisors promptly • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working condition • Work independently or as part of a field team ⸻ Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent (ITI/diploma preferred) • Prior experience in meter installation or electrical work (1+ year preferred) • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring • Valid driving license and willingness to travel • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skill
