About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Slack Developer / Consultant to lead the end-to-end implementation of Slack for a greenfield account. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Slack as the central communication and collaboration platform for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full-cycle Slack implementation from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Design Slack architecture, including workspace structure, channels, user groups, and permissions.
• Configure and customize Slack settings to align with business needs and workflows.
• Integrate Slack with third-party tools, internal systems, and productivity platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Trello).
• Develop and maintain Slack apps, bots, and automation workflows using Slack APIs and Workflow Builder.
• Establish governance, security policies, and usage guidelines for Slack adoption.
• Train and support end-users, ensuring smooth onboarding and adoption.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve Slack workflows and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience implementing Slack from scratch in a greenfield environment.
• Strong knowledge of Slack administration, configuration, and governance.

• Hands-on experience with Slack APIs, Bolt framework, and custom app/bot development.

• Experience integrating Slack with enterprise systems and SaaS tools.
• Solid understanding of workspace permissions, channel strategy, and user management.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier, Workato, or similar) for Slack workflow enhancements.
