Site Supervisor (Solar PV & Battery Projects)

Role Overview: As a Site Supervisor for Solar PV & Battery Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of solar PV and battery storage projects across India. Your role will involve managing site teams, coordinating with the Project Management Office, and ensuring timely and high-quality installations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise day-to-day site operations for rooftop solar PV and battery storage projects. - Coordinate with the Project Management Office to provide updates, resolve issues, and align with project timelines. - Lead and manage site labour, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe and compliant work practices. - Conduct daily reporting on site progress, manpower, and material utilization. - Oversee hiring, training, and management of site teams, including subcontractors and local labor. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements. - Negotiate and resolve disputes with labor and subcontractors effectively while maintaining positive site morale. - Manage regional project delivery, including resource planning and mobilization across multiple sites. - Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure installations align with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and compliance standards. - Support testing, commissioning, and handover of completed projects. - Liaise with clients and stakeholders on-site to maintain strong professional relationships. Qualification Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in site supervision of commercial rooftop solar projects (ground-mount and hybrid solar-battery project experience is a plus). - Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, with additional regional languages being an advantage. - Proven ability to interact with senior management, manage site labor teams, and ensure compliance and quality control. - Hands-on experience with health, safety, and environmental compliance on solar sites. - Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple regional projects within time and budget constraints. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. - Willingness to travel extensively to project sites across India.,
