Site Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented uPVC Windows and Doors Supervisor to oversee the fabrication and installation of uPVC windows and doors. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with quality standards. This role involves coordinating site teams, managing daily work schedules, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the installation of uPVC windows and doors at residential or commercial project sites. Oversee fabrication processes and ensure products meet design specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication details, and installation guidelines. Assign tasks to team members and ensure adherence to work schedules. Monitor inventory levels of materials, tools, and hardware, and coordinate with the procurement team. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior installers and technicians. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Identify and resolve on-site issues or delays proactively. Maintain daily reports on work progress, material usage, and team attendance. Requirements: Proven experience (3+ years) in supervising uPVC window and door installation and/or fabrication. Strong knowledge of uPVC systems, hardware fittings, and glazing techniques. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Working knowledge of health and safety standards in construction. Valid driver’s license (if site travel is required). Preferred Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a candidate experienced in civil site supervising Experience with automated fabrication equipment and quality testing tools. Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software for interpreting installation plans. Work Conditions: Work is performed at both factory and on-site locations. May require lifting, working at heights, or prolonged standing. Occasional travel to multiple project sites.
