Site Manager Civil

Role Overview: ib vogt GmbH is looking for a Civil Project Manager to lead and manage all civil works on solar power project sites. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all civil works on solar power project sites, ensuring timely delivery of materials and resources. - Oversee site preparation activities, including grading, excavation, and construction of civil structures. - Ensure quality control on all civil works, conduct regular site inspections, and monitor compliance with safety standards. - Manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and laborers, coordinate with different teams, and organize regular team meetings. - Control and manage the civil works budget, monitor resource allocation, and ensure efficient use of resources. - Implement safety programs on-site, conduct safety audits, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Serve as the main point of contact for all civil-related aspects of the project, provide progress updates to stakeholders, and maintain detailed documentation. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree or additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus. - Experience: 8-12 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in the solar industry. Proven track record of managing civil execution on solar power plants. - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, familiarity with design software, and expertise in managing the construction of solar mounting structures.
