Site Feasibility Engineer

Role: Site Feasibility Engineer The Site Feasibility Engineer will be responsible for conducting detailed site surveys, evaluating the feasibility of elevator installation, and ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves close coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver accurate feasibility reports that support effective project execution. Key Responsibilities: 1. Site Surveys & Inspections o Conduct preliminary and detailed surveys at client sites. o Evaluate shaft dimensions, pit depth, headroom, and structural suitability. o Inspect civil readiness, load-bearing capacity, and alignment. o Check power availability, earthing, and electrical provisions. o Verify access routes for material movement and installation feasibility. 2. Feasibility Analysis o Assess compatibility of site conditions with proposed elevator models. o Identify potential risks (space constraints, obstructions, structural challenges). o Suggest civil modifications or technical adjustments where needed. o Recommend suitable elevator type and capacity based on site usage. 3. Technical Documentation & Reporting o Prepare detailed feasibility reports with drawings, images, and recommendations. o Share structured reports with project, sales, and design teams. o Highlight non-compliance or issues requiring client/contractor action. o Update central records and maintain a site survey database. 4. Client & Internal Team Coordination o Explain site feasibility findings to clients in a clear and professional manner. o Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors for technical clarifications. o Provide support to the sales team with technical inputs for proposals. o Participate in pre-bid meetings and technical discussions when required. 5. Compliance & Standards o Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and lift standards. o Verify site readiness against legal and regulatory norms. o Recommend corrective measures to achieve compliance. o Ensure quality benchmarks are maintained before project handover. 6. Project Handover & Support o Provide technical handover documents to the project execution team. Assist project engineers with site-specific clarifications. o Revisit sites if major deviations or changes are reported.
