Site Engineer Pharmaceutical Greenfield Project

Vega group is setting up a state-of-the-art EU GMP–compliant greenfield pharmaceutical facility and are seeking a Site Engineer to join our core team. The ideal candidate will oversee construction, installations, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), and later manage the engineering department once the facility is operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate construction and installation activities at the new facility.
• Review and execute engineering drawings, layouts, and project schedules.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, AHUs, chillers, utilities, water systems, and production equipment.
• Conduct and document FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ in coordination with vendors and validation teams.
• Ensure compliance with EU GMP, PIC/S, and regulatory standards during construction and qualification phases.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Once operational, lead the engineering & maintenance department, including preventive maintenance, breakdown management, and utilities.
• Maintain documentation and support audits/inspections as per regulatory norms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical plant engineering or projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom systems, chillers, and utility equipment.
• Experience in greenfield or brownfield pharmaceutical projects preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to qualification, validation, FAT/SAT processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
