Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Engineer (Interior) to oversee and manage interior fit-out projects on-site. The role involves supervising execution, coordinating with various teams, ensuring quality control, and ensuring the project runs on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations related to interior fit-out works (e.g., false ceilings, partitions, flooring, carpentry, painting, MEP coordination).
• Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery and proper installation.
• Ensure all interior works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor work progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
• Inspect workmanship and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Resolve site-related issues and escalate where necessary.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, project managers, and MEP engineers to ensure smooth project flow.
• Manage site resources including labor, materials, and tools effectively.
• Participate in project handover, snagging, and commissioning processes.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years (or more) of experience in interior fit-out projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in reading and interpreting interior design and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Basic understanding of MEP coordination in interior projects.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, team coordination, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications: Knowledge of health & safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with commercial, hospitality, or retail interior projects.
• Ability to handle multiple sites simultaneously (if required).
• Familiarity with sustainable or green building practices (optional).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
