Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required specifications.business.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and contracts, ensuring design accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.nests.
• Set out and survey sites, preparing layouts and managing site resources such as materials, machinery, and workforce.
• Oversee quality control by inspecting materials, workmanship, and processes, and conduct necessary tests to maintain standards.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential risks and delays, and propose practical solutions to keep work on schedule.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and sustainability policies, supporting a culture of safe working practices.
• Liaise and coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and management, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document project activities, maintain daily logs, prepare progress reports, and update management on milestones and issues.
• Provide technical inputs for necessary modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; advanced construction management or relevant certifications are an advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience in site engineering or project supervision on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, technical documentation, and material estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, site project management tools, and MS Office.
• Good communication, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and resourcefulness.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards applicable in India.business.
• Ability to work independently on site and collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,767.10 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Interior Works: 1 year (Preferred)

Location:

• Koundampalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Required)
