Site Engineer (Civil)

Role Overview: As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day site activities to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth project execution. - Ensure construction progress aligns with design, schedule, and budget requirements. - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals involved in the project for effective collaboration. - Interpret engineering drawings and designs to provide technical oversight. - Verify that materials used meet project specifications to maintain quality standards. - Conduct site surveys, leveling, and setting out of works to ensure accuracy. - Implement and enforce quality control procedures on-site to meet project standards. - Monitor health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. - Inspect and test completed works before handover to ensure quality assurance. - Prepare site reports, progress updates, and maintain daily logs for accurate documentation. - Record site activities, delays, weather conditions, and workforce attendance for reporting purposes. - Assist with procurement and inventory management of materials and equipment for project needs. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Proven experience in project management and construction supervision. - Strong knowledge of engineering principles and construction processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination. - Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work in a fast-paced environment.
