Site Engineer (Civil)

As a Project Engineer, your role will involve overseeing and managing various aspects of construction projects to ensure they are completed successfully. You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Supervising and monitoring day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth progress. - Ensuring that construction is carried out according to design, schedule, and budget requirements. - Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals involved in the project for seamless execution. - Interpreting engineering drawings and designs to guide the construction process effectively. - Verifying that materials used meet project specifications to maintain quality standards. - Conducting site surveys, leveling, and setting out works accurately. You will also be accountable for: - Implementing and enforcing quality control procedures on-site to uphold project standards. - Monitoring health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. - Inspecting and testing completed works before handover to guarantee quality. - Preparing site reports, progress updates, and maintaining daily logs for documentation. - Recording site activities, delays, weather conditions, and workforce attendance for thorough reporting. - Assisting with procurement and inventory management of materials and equipment to support project needs.
