Site Engineer (Civil)

As a Construction Supervisor, your role involves supervising and managing construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, safety procedures, and project schedules. You will be responsible for performing site set-outs, layout control, regular inspections, and quality checks. Your interpretation of engineering drawings, survey results, blueprints, and technical documents will be crucial for the successful execution of projects. Coordination with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders is essential, and you will need to proactively communicate progress while flagging any delays or issues. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee materials and equipment to ensure quality, track usage, and manage deliveries effectively. - Monitor project costs, propose cost-saving strategies, and manage budgets to prevent overruns. - Identify technical challenges, lead problem-solving efforts, and implement design modifications on-site. - Maintain comprehensive documentation including site diaries, inspection logs, reports, change orders, and material test records. - Promote and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental compliance in all construction activities. - Continuously seek process improvements and adopt new technologies to enhance site efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. - Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with various stakeholders. - Experience in managing project costs, budgets, and implementing cost-saving strategies. - Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction projects. - Ability to identify technical challenges, lead problem-solving efforts, and implement design modifications effectively. This role offers a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. A willingness to travel up to 25% is preferred.
