We are looking for a talented Should Costing Engineer with expertise in the automotive sector to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and cost drivers, as well as hands-on experience in implementing should costing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute should costing methodologies for various automotive components, including castings, forgings, moldings, fabrications, stampings, PCBs, etc.

• Analyze cost drivers such as material, labor, and overheads, and provide insights for cost optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.

• Conduct cost simulations and “what-if” scenarios to explore potential savings.

• Ensure that cost estimates are precise, reliable, and aligned with project timelines and budgets.

• Provide strategic sourcing recommendations based on cost, quality, and supplier performance.

• Track, monitor, and report project costs, ensuring alignment with budget and schedule.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Freshers from (2024 & 2025) batch passed out

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost drivers of parts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
