Position :Should Costing Engineer Job Location :Pune & Baroda Education :Diploma/B. Tech/ B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Mandate key skills: Zero base costing, Should costing Manufacturing process awareness on various engineering commodities (Castings, Forgings, Sheet metal, Machined items, Plastic, Rubber, assemblies, etc.) (any 2 to 3 commodities are mandate to have) Good experience in handling aPriori /TCPCM software Vendor Development/component development About The Role : & Skill Requirement: Working exposure to manufacturing processes of various engineering commodities (Castings, Forgings, Sheet metal, Machined items, Plastic, Rubber, assemblies, etc.)Hands on exposure to new product development with supplier end. Technical support to vendor for process mapping, machine selectionCost calculations for reference/target cost and negotiations for new componentsUnderstanding of cost and drivers and independent cost calculations with minimal supportKnowledge about different machines, machines hourly rate, overheads etc.Supplier quote analysis and providing comprehensive report / negotiation dossier to Commodity team for Price negotiation discussion with SupplierShould Cost Analysis and RFQ Management, Price negotiation.Hands on experience of cost mapping for engineering parts & assemblies. Should be able to define best suited manufacturing process, machine selection, cycle time calculations.Drawing reading, good knowledge of GD&T.Defining production process based on drawings & spec. for given parts, sub-assembly & assemblyWorking experience of various should costing software like aPriori, Costimator, TcPCMSupport in VAVE and Teardown projects.Component development as per PPAP, CAPA and Problem solving,Exposure to IATF 16949 QMSGood in communication, ability to lead team & drive project
