We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Developer with 2–3 years of experience in developing and customizing Shopify storefronts and apps. In this role, you’ll build engaging, high-performance eCommerce experiences, integrate custom features, and contribute to app-level development. You’ll collaborate closely with design, backend, and marketing teams to deliver scalable, conversion-focused Shopify solutions.

COMPETENCIES

Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Build responsive, fast-loading storefronts with reusable and modular components.
Develop and maintain Shopify custom/private apps using Node.js, React or any other stack.
Integrate third-party APIs and services (payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs, analytics).
Optimize site performance, SEO, and page speed for improved UX.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in themes, APIs, and apps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate designs and requirements into functional code.
Stay current with Shopify platform updates, app frameworks, and ecosystem advancements.
Strong ownership and accountability for deliverables.
Problem-solver with a learning mindset and eye for detail.
Collaborative team player with good communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

2–3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify theme and app development.
Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
Experience working with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) and webhooks.
Familiarity with Shopify CLI, Git, and modern build workflows.
Understanding of Node.js, Express, and React for app development
Ability to optimize site performance and ensure mobile responsiveness.
Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail.
Experience with Shopify Plus and checkout extensibility.
Exposure to Shopify Hydrogen/Remix or other headless commerce frameworks.
Understanding of internationalization (i18n) and multi-region storefronts.
Experience integrating marketing tools, analytics, and automation scripts.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Vercel, Netlify).
