Shopify Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Shopify Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performing eCommerce websites. The ideal candidate will have strong Shopify expertise, an eye for clean, responsive design, and the ability to deliver seamless user experiences. This role will involve working closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life and enhance store functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Development & Customization

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and templates.
• Write clean, scalable code in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Implement custom features, functionalities, and integrations with third-party apps.
• Build responsive designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.

Optimization & Maintenance

• Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and conversion rate.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, technical issues, and UI inconsistencies.
• Maintain version control and follow coding best practices.

Collaboration & Project Execution

• Work with designers to translate mockups into functional web pages.
• Integrate payment gateways, APIs, and custom functionalities.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement tracking, analytics, and campaign features.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• 2–4 years of experience as a Shopify Developer (Shopify Plus experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and Shopify APIs.
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Understanding of eCommerce workflows, payment systems, and integrations.
