Shooting Coach

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated 10 Meter Shooting Range Coaches to lead our shooting programs at our shooting ranges, operated by Precision Shooting Club, and guide our athletes in precision shooting sports such as Air Rifle & Air pistol disciplines.

Skills & Qualifications

-Minimum 2 years of experience of coaching is required.

-Must be a graduate in any discipline.

-Knowledge of website management would be an added advantage.

Experience

The candidate should have wide experience within the world of target shooting, especially in the area of coaching. A thorough knowledge of range safety regulations and the safe handling of firearms is an absolute necessity.

Experience and knowledge of coaching Air rifle shooting sport to a high standard, management of training programmes, following and planning schedules, organising staff and delivering first class training to students is required.

Responsibilities

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a shooting coach you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs tailored to individual athlete needs, fostering technical proficiency, consistency and confidence in shooting techniques. Your main duties will be to provide instructions and guidance to students of different levels, ages, and backgrounds on how to handle and shoot firearms. This may include teaching them the basics of firearm safety, operation, maintenance, and storage, as well as the techniques, rules, and ethics of different shooting disciplines and scenarios. Typical duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

Management

- Must foster a good working relationship with the Staff and students and supervise the organisation and administration of the training centre, equipment, weapons cleaning and maintenance, etc.

Selection and Competitions

- Must encourage and motivate students to take up Shooting as a sport.

- To train potential shooters and encourage participation in Interschool/State as well as National and International level competitions.

- To organise various Inter school competitions at regular Intervals.

- To attend competitions along with student participants as the member of staff in charge and to be the primary contact for communication.

Coaching and Training:

- Training students during hours allotted for coaching by the school.

- Must be prepared to conduct competitions on an intra/intra school level.

- Ensure that all shooting/training conducted at the shooting range is carried out in compliance with the school & governing bodies regulations.

- Maintain confidentiality at all times in respect of school-related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential or sensitive information.

- Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may reasonably be required.

Conducting Drives for New Members:

- Organising camps and demos to induct new members for Precision Shooting Club.

- Spreading awareness about the club among various schools, universities. Corporates etc.

- Informing prospective members about the club’s profile, activities etc.

Conducting Corporate Events:

- Event planning and managing all event delivery elements within time limits

- Liaise with invitees, participants to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction

- Organise facilities and manage all event’s details such as banners, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, sponsors, etc.

- Ensure compliance with legal and safety obligations

- Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities

- Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicise event

- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day

- Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes

Social Media management:

- Handling social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and updating and posting information/pictures/event details regularly as well as managing the website.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
