Job Description

Shift Lead:

Performs all Security related duties and oversees security team members assigned to a shift. Duties include planning,

scheduling, organizing and directing work, training personnel and recommending applicants for training

opportunities or corrective action.

  • The role of Lead would be of Management of Security Operations during the shift:
  • Shift Lead will be responsible for the entire shift operations of the site.
  • The role would require Incident Reporting and Management along with sustained support in security

escorts and events security.

  • Coordinates the work activities of others.
  • Schedules other security officers to cover required shifts and oversees work activity during shift.
  • Trains new security officers or other personnel and provides on-going direction.
  • Security management, investigations, and risk consulting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated physical security, life safety, fire safety and emergency management

systems.

  • Hands-on experience on handling security equipment, like CCTV, Access control, barriers, intruder/fire

alarms, firefighting equipment, GPS monitoring, DFMD, HHMD, and control panels.

  • Project management skills.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Serve as an effective team member.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

Detailed responsibilities under physical security operations will be as under:

  • Rosters and attendance.
  • Checks and reports.
  • Incident management.
  • Stocks and stationaries.
  • Building and perimeter security.
  • Parking management.
  • New hire orientation.
  • Training.
  • Maintenance and quarterly checks of security systems.
  • Alarm management.
  • Shutdown and upgrades.

Additionally, lead is expected to be responsible for coordination and execution of activities under:

  • Lost and found.
  • Event security management.
  • Spare management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures.
  • Skill in both verbal and written communication.
  • Skill in observing situations and decision making.
  • Skill in dealing courteously with the public.
  • Skill in leading the work of others.
  • Must be willing to work for 24*7 and 6 Days in a week shift pattern.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Atleast 5 years of experience in the security field post Bachelors
