Shift Incharge Liquid Terminal

Purpose/Objective

Shift Manager - LT Operations is responsible for overseeing the entire product operation cycle, from berthing to the dispatch of products at the Liquid Terminal. Oversees managing daily shift operations, planning vessel activities, coordinating manpower, liaising with stakeholders, updating SOPs, accounting for stock, and maintaining cleanliness within the terminal.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Liquid Terminal Operations Management: Direct and manage daily shift operations at the Liquid Terminal, ensuring efficient and safe execution of all activities.. Resource Management: Evaluate operational needs and allocate the necessary manpower for effective Jetty and Tank Farm operations. Vessel Operation Monitoring: Monitor the timing and efficiency of vessel loading and unloading operations, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and optimizing vessel turnaround times. Operational Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination between vessel masters, surveyors, clients, CHAs, vessel agents, shift in-charges, and the maintenance department to ensure smooth operations. SOP Maintenance: Regularly update and prepare SOPs and checklists to maintain operational standards and consistency. Inventory Management: Conduct stock reconciliation during vessel operations and prepare Outturn Reports (OTRs) for accurate accounting. Cost Optimization: Streamline operations to reduce costs and update daily records of stock handled and dispatched to monitor operational efficiency. Safety & Compliance: Implement, monitor, and ensure that Liquid Terminal operations comply with Integrated Management System requirements and Standard Operating Procedures, prioritizing safety. Facility Maintenance: : Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the Liquid Terminal area, ensuring a tidy and well-organized work environment. Digital Mindset: Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness. Team Development: Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success. Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Work Experience: Minimum 5-7 years experience in electrical maintenance
