Shift Engineer - CPVC 55(3-5) KTA D2

As a Field Supervisor in this role, your responsibilities will include: - Supervising and ensuring the implementation of safety procedures and processes in the fields - Conducting risk assessment and toolbox talks prior to job execution - Supporting the shift superintendent in monitoring process parameters, troubleshooting, and expediting maintenance - Providing field supervision for shutdown, startup, and preservation - Effectively using the OMPro tool - Mitigating process emergencies and emergency shutdown - Supporting efforts on special samples and improvement trials where relevant - Following up with Field executives and maintenance executives to expedite maintenance activities and ensure safe HOTO of equipment - Implementing PIOs and supporting improvement studies in your area - Participating in learning from incidents and RCA discussions - Maintaining shift logs for the respective area/equipment - Ensuring self-compliance to OD elements and enforcing the same with subordinates for operational excellence - Providing field training to the field executives/subordinates - Participating in improvement activities and providing input/feedback to superiors for continual improvement in plant performance, safe operations, and ease of operations - Preparing daily reports on plant performance highlights, raw material, and utilities consumption reports - Being a member of the Auxiliary Fire Squad Qualifications required for this role: - B.Tech/B.E, B.Sc., or Diploma Degree in Chemical Engineering Experience required: - Managed a team in current/prior assignments - Relevant Experience for Degree holders: 2 years - Relevant Experience for Diploma holders: 5 years as a panel executive Skills and Competencies needed: - Problem-solving and analytical ability - People management skills - Planning and decision-making skills - Good communication skills - Teamwork and leadership skills - Good technical skills,
