Job Summary:

The ideal candidate should have over 9 years of experience in logistics or transportation operations, with deep domain knowledge in line haul or gateway processes and proven team leadership capabilities. This role requires strong analytical, operational, and coordination skills to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage end-to-end line haul or gateway operations for NCR Bilaspur hub. • Ensure timely departures and arrivals of vehicles/trailers between origin and destination hubs. • Oversee transhipment centre activities, vehicle docking, bag/surface load handling, and documentation. • Monitor line haul schedules, trip management, and vehicle turn-around times. • Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance norms. • Optimize operational costs through efficient route planning, load optimization, and fuel efficiency tracking. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including first mile, last mile, planning, and customer service teams. • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all stages of operations. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process automation. • Lead a team of supervisors, shift managers, support staff, and transport partners.

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in line haul, hub/gateway operations, or transportation management.

• Hands-on experience in managing fleet (own or attached), line haul planning, and gateway load operations.

• Strong team management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in logistics tools, ERP/WMS systems, and MS Office. • Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.

• Willingness to work in dynamic, high-volume operational environments.
