Job Description

SFCC Senior Developer with Scrum Master

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Senior Developer

with strong hands-on expertise in

SFRA

backend integrations

, and

eCommerce architecture

, combined with proven experience as a

Scrum Master

. The role involves leading technical development, ensuring high-quality code delivery, guiding the team through Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and supporting smooth coordination across product, QA, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities (SFCC - Senior Developer)

Design, develop, and enhance eCommerce features using
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
, focusing on
SFRA
architecture.
Develop high-quality server-side JavaScript, ISML templates, pipelines, controllers, jobs, and custom cartridges.
Implement integrations with third-party systems (OMS, PIM, Payment, Inventory, Shipping, Marketing tools, Loyalty, etc.).
Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and guide junior developers on best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues, participate in root-cause analysis, and ensure smooth L2/L3 support when needed.
Optimize site performance, caching strategies (Page Designer, OCAPI, SCAPI, CDN), and security.
Collaborate with architects to design scalable, re-usable, and high-performing solutions.
Work closely with QA to ensure full test coverage and defect resolution.
Participate in deployment activities, version control, and release management (Git, CI/CD pipelines).

Scrum Master Responsibilities

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies:
Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives
.
Serve as a servant-leader to the development team, ensuring blockers are removed promptly.
Work with Product Owner to refine and prioritize backlog items.
Track sprint progress using tools such as
Jira / Azure DevOps
, ensuring transparency and timely reporting.
Identify risks early and coordinate with stakeholders for mitigation.
Ensure the team follows Agile/Scrum principles while maintaining delivery velocity.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and team collaboration.
Safeguard the team from scope creep and productivity disruptions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (UX, QA, Infra, BA, Integration) for seamless sprint execution.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

5-8+ years of hands-on experience in
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
development.
Strong expertise in
SFRA
, server-side JavaScript, ISML, Digital Data, and cartridge-based development.
Good understanding of
OCAPI (Shop/ Data)
and
SCAPI
.
Experience integrating SFCC with 3rd-party applications (Payment, PIM, OMS, SAP, ERP, Tax, etc.).
Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts: Pricing, Inventory, Checkout, Catalog, Promotions, PDP/PLP flows.
Experience with
Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins
, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of
SiteGenesis
migration to SFRA is a strong advantage.
Experience with headless commerce, React-based storefronts, or multi-site architecture is a plus.

Scrum/Leadership Skills

2-4+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and team velocity management.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage conflicts, address impediments, and foster team collaboration.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM/PSM) preferred.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication (verbal and written).
Ability to lead technical discussions and drive decisions.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to mentor junior developers and influence cross-functional teams.

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Relevant Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications are a plus.
ScrumMaster certification (CSM or PSM) preferred.
