About the Role:

Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Functional Tester

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in functional testing of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) implementations or eCommerce platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SFCC modules such as Product Management, Order Management, Pricing, Promotions, Customer Accounts, and Checkout.
• Experience with manual testing and familiarity with test automation concepts in SFCC environments.
• Proficiency in test case creation, defect tracking, and test reporting.
• Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM for test management and defect tracking.
• Experience in conducting integration testing with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, ERP, CRM, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify edge cases and potential issues in business processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience with SFCC B2C Commerce and understanding of OCAPI, SFRA, and data modelling.
• Certification in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (optional but a plus).
• Experience with performance and load testing is a bonus.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on functional testing.
• Experience in testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud integrations (e.g., with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).
• Knowledge of API testing (using tools like Rest Assured/ Postman/ SoapUI).
• Understanding of SEO, analytics, and other customer-facing eCommerce features is a plus.
